Fiona is a tutor who is passionate about helping students build confidence in their abilities. Originally from Detroit, MI, Fiona recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wayne State University. She earned her BS in Elementary Education (K-8) with a concentration in Mathematics. With 4 years of classroom and tutoring experience, she has developed a deep understanding of the unique needs of students and the importance of building meaningful relationships. She believes a safe and supportive environment is crucial to student success.

As a math enthusiast, Fiona believes the subject can be creative and she values different thought processes when it comes to solving problems. She encourages her students to think outside the box and approach problems in a way that makes sense to them.
